Nvent electric plc adds the nvent schroff high thermal sawtooth card lok (hts) to the company’s product offering
Nvent electric plc announced that it has added the nvent schroff high thermal sawtooth card lok (hts) to the company’s product offering. designed to provide more efficient heat dispersion in severe environments where convection cooling cannot be used, the hts makes cooling electronics more efficient and more cost-effective than similarly sized card loks. the hts increases thermal performance by up to 15% compared to other similarly sized card loks. it reliably retains and cools mission-critical electronics and improves clamping force. also, users can easily modify their hts based on board layout and cooling needs while still utilizing the product as a drop-in replacement for current card lok designs. in addition to improved performance, users now have more customization options. customers can use full design services and consult nvent engineers to ensure the solution will meet their requirements. also, they can visit the nvent website to download pre-configured cad templates which meet relevant standards. hts also offers additional customer experience improvements including improved sourcing convenience and reduced cost. nvent has streamlined the ordering process; lead times have been shortened to 6-8 weeks. customers can order hts as part of a conduction cooled assembly kit under a single part number. this same number includes the housing for the printed circuit board, card loks, extractors and other parts of the assembly such as the thermal gap pads.
