(nyse:gs) today announced the pricing of its previously announced tender offer (the “tender offer”) to purchase for cash any and all of the outstanding $2,750,000,000 aggregate liquidation amount of 6.345% capital securities issued by goldman sachs capital i, a statutory trust organized under delaware law for which the goldman sachs group, inc. is the sponsor (the “capital securities”). on may 29, 2014, the goldman sachs group, inc. commenced the tender offer to purchase the capital securities in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the offer to purchase, dated may 29, 2014, relating thereto (the “offer to purchase”). the key pricing details for the tender offer are as follows: liquidationamountoutstanding reference ustreasury security referenceyield(1) fixedspread(bps) purchaseprice(1) (2) (3) 6.345% capital securities of goldman sachs capital i(cusip: 38143vaa7) 3.625% u.s. treasury bond due february 15, 2044 __________________ the tender offer is scheduled to expire at 5:00 p.m., new york city time, on june 11, 2014, unless extended or earlier terminated by the goldman sachs group, inc.
