Fossil has launched its gen 5 smartwatches in india. the latest wearables retain the trendy and iconic fossil design while packing in the latest features such as asnapdragon wear 3100chip, built-in gps and heart rate sensor, and new smart battery modes. the gen 5 smartwatches come at a starting price of inr 22,995. the fossil gen 5 smartwatch comes in a single 44mm stainless steel case option with six color combinations of black, smoke, and rose gold as well as interchangeable straps/bracelets. it features a classic rounded design with a crown and two push-buttons that can be customized to launch an app. the device is also swim-proof upto 30 meters, and it offers a 1.3-inch touchscreen display. the fossil gen 5 is powered by a snapdragon wear 3100 chipset, paired with 8gb of storage, and 1gb of ram. it runs on google's wear os platform. the smartwatch is compatible with both ios and android and packs a slew of sensors including a heart rate monitor, accelerometer, gyroscope, altimeter, gps, nfc, and ambient light sensor.
