Corecivic announces redemption of $325.0 million 4.125% senior notes due 2020
Corecivic, inc. announced that it will redeem all of its outstanding $325.0 million in aggregate principal amount of 4.125% senior notes due 2020 (the “notes”), on january 1, 2020 (the “redemption date”), at a redemption price equal to 100% of the principal amount of the notes, plus accrued and unpaid interest to but excluding the redemption date. since the redemption date is not a business day, the redemption price will be paid on the next succeeding business day, january 2, 2020. on and after the redemption date, interest will cease to accrue on the notes and the notes will cease to be outstanding. the company intends to finance the redemption of the notes with borrowings under the company’s revolving credit facility. the details concerning the redemption are fully described in the notice of redemption sent on december 2, 2019 to record holders of the notes. this press release is not a notice of redemption. the redemption is being made solely pursuant to the notice of redemption. this press release does not constitute an offer to buy or sell or the solicitation of an offer to sell or buy securities.
