Cabot corporation announces executive management changes

Cabot corporation announced changes to its executive leadership team designed to streamline its organizational structure and support its long-term growth strategy. the following organizational changes will be effective immediately. jeff zhu, senior vice president and president, asia pacific region will assume responsibilities for leading the specialty carbons, fumed metal oxides, and aerogel product lines, as president, performance additives in addition to his current role as leader of the asia pacific region. zhu joined cabot in 2012 and brings a comprehensive global and regional perspective, combined with decades of experience leading businesses in the chemicals industry. zhu also serves as the chairman of the board of the association of international chemical manufacturers (aicm), an industry association that operates in china. in addition, jay doubman will step down from his role as senior vice president and president of the performance additives segment to pursue other opportunities. doubman joined cabot in 2006 and has held a variety of leadership positions throughout his tenure, including senior vice president of corporate strategy and development and president of the specialty fluids segment. doubman will remain with the company through november 15, 2019 to provide transition support.
