Bwx technologies, inc. announces promotion of suzy sterner as senior vice president for government relations

Bwx technologies, inc. announced that suzy sterner has been promoted to senior vice president for government relations, effective oct. 1, 2019. sterner is responsible for bwxt’s relationship with the u.s. government, including the u.s. congress and the executive branch, in addition to the company's interface with government officials and stakeholders at the local, state and international levels. sterner joined bwxt as vice president for government relations in january of this year after serving as the senior director of congressional relations for northrop grumman. she was also vice president of government affairs for saic. before that, sterner was senior director of congressional relations for exelis. she also served more than six years with aerojet rocketdyne as director of congressional relations.
