Smartthings announced an alliance with acuity brands, inc. to co-develop smart lighting products that will natively connect to the samsung smartthings® mobile application (app). the two companies are collaborating on smart home lighting solutions through the acuity design studio, which encompasses industrial design, engineering and portfolio management resources from acuity brands and samsung – housed within acuity brands’ atlanta, ga-based operations.
