from painting to monumental sculpture, in the espace musÉes (museum

Paris--(business wire)--following rodin, jean dubuffet. the second exhibition organised by aÉroports de paris (paris:adp) (pink sheets:aeopf) will be running until 6 january 2014 in the espace musÉes, a free museum area for passengers travelling through the airport. the exhibition "jean dubuffet – the hourloupe cycle; from painting to monumental sculpture", produced in partnership with the dubuffet foundation, is presenting 21 of the artist's original works. "the exhibitions in the espace musÉes follow on from each other but each is unique. this is what makes this new space for the promotion of french cultural heritage attractive. we wish to surprise and amaze passengers from all over the world when they pass through paris-charles de gaulle airport", explained augustin de romanet, chairman and ceo of aÉroports de paris. the hourloupe cycle is undoubtedly the longest and richest period from the work of jean dubuffet, painter, sculptor, and 20th century french visual artist. the word "hourloupe", coined by the artist himself, refers to a series of artworks whose principal characteristic is that they are totally… impossible to categorize! passengers will have the chance to discover paintings, sculptures, and models of monumental sculptures created by jean dubuffet. all of the exhibited works are on loan from the dubuffet foundation, created by the artist 40 years ago. access to the espace musÉes, located in the international zone of terminal 2e (hall m), is free of charge and open to all from the first flight of the day to the last. each year, two themed exhibitions will be presented to passengers. photos available upon request www.aeroportsdeparis.fr aÉroports de paris builds, develops and manages airports including paris-charles de gaulle, paris-orly and paris-le bourget. in 2012 nearly 89 million passengers attended the paris airports, which have handled 2.3 million tons of freight and mail. aÉroports de paris and its partner tav airports, airport operator reference in turkey, directly and indirectly manages 37 airports in the world for a total of about 200 million passengers. with the attractiveness of paris and its international position, the group is pursuing its strategy of adapting and modernizing its terminal facilities, upgrading quality of services, and also diversify its sources of income thank to retail and real estate business. in 2012, the group revenue stood at €2,640 million and the net income at €341 million. registered office: 291, boulevard raspail, 75014 paris, france. a limited company (sociÉtÉ anonyme) with share capital of €296,881,806. 552 016 628 rcs paris.
